the Metro Convention Centre will host over 100 galleries from 13 countries for the 12th Toronto International
Art Fair, the largest indoor visual art event in Canada, where artworks by both renowned and emerging artists

The 8th Annual
Downtown Eastside Heart of the City Festival is underway! There are more than 80 events at over 20 locations
scheduled over the 12 days in this year’s festival celebrating the Downtown Eastside as the founding
neighbourhood of Vancouver. To commemorate the city’s 125th anniversary, the vibrant art community will be
telling stories of the area’s past and present through a variety of traditions and forms including paintings,
poetry, music, dancing, walking tours and so much more.
