The first weekend of August marks a
busy one in the city of Toronto.
The annual Pilaros Taste of the Danforth festival commences today and runs until Sunday. Expect lots of
delicious Greek and Mediterranean foods (much more than traditional gyros and souvlaki), and a lot of people
– As Canada’s largest street festival, Taste of the Danforth is expecting more than one million people to
attend over the festival’s three-day span.
To wash down the savoury fare,
Torontonians can head down to Exhibition Place for Toronto's Festival of
Beer. With more than
120 brands to be showcased at the 3-day event, guests can experience the many flavours of Canada’s favourite
summer beverage.
