During these recent gloomy days, I never thought I’d find a ray of sunshine through my tastebuds. With a
succulent piece of lamb and a great wine accompaniment, the cloudy day didn’t seem to bother me anymore.
Pan Mediterranean Cuisine, located on Danforth Avenue in Toronto, is one of the city’s many Greek
restaurants. Pan sets itself apart through reasonable prices, five-star dishes and great wine suggestions on
the menu. Having a unique blend of oregano and lemon flavour through all types of meat such as lamb, chicken,
pork and beef, Pan offers an authentic meal that is often described by many as a real taste of Greece.
There was no doubt about what to eat. After always hearing how well-known Greeks are for their lamb, it was a
premeditated order. The lamb was served with savoury herbs, vegetables and orzo pasta, and a suggested glass
of Shiraz. Spending no more than $50, it was well worth the rush-hour traffic jam to get there.
