Bye-bye traditional wine menus; hello iPad app.
When the South Gate restaurant in New York City announced they
were the first to replace their wine lists with an iPad version, it makes one wonder how much longer the days
of the sommelier are here to stay.
With more than 650 bottles to choose from, the application seems to be an appropriate choice. The technology
will also allow users to document new products as they arrive, as well as keep track of which ones are sold
out.
At the touch of a screen, you too can become a connoisseur.
