Organic Night Out

September 9, 2010

The next time you’ve got a night out planned, think green. Eco-friendly green, that is.

GustOrganics, located in New York City, is the world’s first bar and restaurant to use only organic spirits, mixers, fruit, cocktails, beer, wine and liquor. But it isn’t just the bar that’s environmentally sound, as the establishment utilizes a wind turbine for power and display menus that are printed on recycled paper with soy ink. The restaurant is also certified by the Green Restaurant Association.

Who says you can’t enjoy yourself and save the world at the same time?

— Alexandra Christopoulos
